LEGO Scooby Doo

Howdy everyone!

Argh, I just realized I haven't posted anything about the new LEGO Scooby Doo sets! Could've sworn I had though...Well, I'll do an overview of it instead!

Well, the sets came out here a fortnight ago, and we're all pretty excited about them! There's been quite a few plans to get some of the sets, and I have a feeling we may end up with getting multiple versions of the same sets...

There are five sets, all ranging between $20-$200 (USD). The smallest set is Mummy Museum Mystery, and the largest is Mystery Mansion. All the sets have between 110-860 bricks.

The LEGO Scooby Doo site is up, and has lots of cool videos and games to play. One of the games will unlock a wallpaper (which I have but am yet to use :P). It even has it's own Forum on the Message Boards, which you can look at, and talk to other LEGO fans on.

There is also a LEGO Scooby Doo tour happening in America at the end of the week, and will go on through till the end of October.

LEGO Ninjago Fliers

Hello everyone one!!

Yesterday was a very exciting day for me and my brothers! We got permission from out parents to buy a Ninjago Flier each. We hadn't got a LEGO set since the beginning to the year (Cloud Cuckoo Palace) because our baby brother was trying to eat small things, but now it's safe to do so!

So my brothers got the Kai and the Zane Fliers, and I got the Morro Flier. We built them the minute we got home.

I quite enjoyed building them, the instructions were easy to read. It took about 15 minutes to build.

I like the Morro minifigure best, he's pretty awesome! I was told that he glowed in the dark, and was pretty disappointed when he didn't.  But oh well!

I'm saving up for the "Last Flight of the Destiny’s Bounty" set now! I can't wait, it'll be my first time to get a LEGO ship... :3

OK, logging off now, I have to do school work!

Skulduggery Pleasant Minifigures

Hello all!

So some of you may have seen these photos already on my G+ page, but I'm also decided to post the on here...

Have many of heard of or read the Skulduggery Pleasant book series by Derek Landy? They're pretty awesome, and they're about a Skeleton Detective and his companion. The series is set in Dublin.

It's one of my favourite book series, and since we opened the LEGO Box again yesterday I decided to make Skulduggery and Valkyrie as LEGO Minifigs. The pictures aren't the best because I took them on the iPad and it's camera sucks, so please excuse their quality.

Yeah, so, those are my photos! Skulduggery is obviously the skeleton, and Valkyrie is the girl. Valkyrie's hair isn't quite what I was  hoping for, but it's the only long black hair piece that we have, and that said my brother wasn't too pleased about letting me borrow it for a few minutes.

I'll be looking up some LEGO News and updates tomorrow at lunch time, to see if there's anything new happening. So bear with me and we'll have something new soon!

 Catch you all soon!

More LEGO Dimensions

Hello all!

Wow, I'm so pumped up about LEGO Dimensions! It's now been confirmed that there will be Doctor Who, Scooby Doo, Simpsons and more for the game! :D

Apparently LEGO accidentally posted up the instructions for some of the fun packs, but when I went to check it out the link came up with Error 404. However, I did find some pictures of those instructions on the web!

I wish I had gotten to see the rest of the instructions though. :3

So as part of the Level Packs we will have:

  •  Doctor Who
  •  Portal 2
  •  Back to the Future (Yay, Marty!! :D)
  •  The Simpsons

 Then Team Packs:
  •  Jurassic World
  •  Scooby Doo

  And then Fun Packs:
  •  Chima
Wow, that's a lot of new additions, right? :D

Personally, I'm most excited about the Doctor Who, Scooby Doo, Back to the Future and Ninjago stuff. In the Doctor Who Level Pack you don't just get the Doctor - you get a mini TARDIS and K-9 Dog! Even if I can't actually get the game, I will totally be buying the DW one.
The Scooby Doo one comes with Scooby, Shaggy, the Mystery Machine and a HUGE sandwich. But is it just me, or does Scooby look a bit sad? :(

And the Ninjago packs! Well, I can go on forever about that, but I won't. I'll just give you more photos. :P

Boy, those Ninjago ones! :D

Also, have you guys heard about the real life Double Decker Couch based off the one from The LEGO Movie?

Well, I have to pop over to Spinj's Space, I have a blog post to write. Catch you later!

Three new Lego Movies

The official release dates for the three LEGO Movies have been announced!

As most people know, there is going to be The LEGO Movie 2 coming out! It's set four years after Emmet, Wyldstyle and co save the world from the dreaded "Kragle". I don't know much else about what is meant to happen in the movie, as LEGO want to keep it a surprise, but there will definitely be new characters! Fingers crossed that this next movie will be awesome.
The LEGO Movie 2 will be hitting cinemas on May 18th, 2018.

There is also going to be a Ninjago Movie! I'm a bit confused at the moment about the plot, because I originally heard it will be set around the time that Lloyd releases the Serpentine, and that would mean Garmadon would still be evil and there would only be four Ninja. However I've now been told that it is set after the Ninja have defeated Ronin, and that there is a banished warlord who the Ninja must fight. I'll find out which is right, and let you all know.
And the Ninjago fans will be disappointed. Instead of being released on 23rd September 2016, it has now been pushed back to 22nd September 2017.

And last, but not least, there's also a LEGO Batman movie! Unfortunately I know very little about this movie, however, it's coming out February 10th, 2017.

I'm looking forward to seeing these movies! Gonna start saving up now for tickets. :P

LEGO Dimensions

Hey guys! :D

Now, have all of you heard about the up coming 'LEGO Dimensions' game? LEGO posted it up on facebook some time, and probably on G+ too, so I'd say it's likely most of you had. For those of you who haven't, well, I can bring you up to date. :P

#LEGODimensions is an upcoming 2015 video game. It has characters from at least six different themes - LEGO Ninjago, The LEGO Movie, The Lord of the Rings, DC Comics, and Back To The Future, plus The Wizard of Oz. It's possible that LEGO Elves may be another part of the game, especially if LEGO are hoping to get more girls playing the game.
LD will be coming out on 27th of September for the US, and 29th of September for Europe. It will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo.

To get started, you of course need to get the Starter Pack. It costs around $99.99 US ($131.55 AUS dollars and £67.75 GBP), so if you're getting it you're either seriously into it, or you have a lot of money to throw around. :P After that Fun Packs are around $15 US and Team Packs are around $30 US.

LEGO Dimensions Packs:

 Starter Pack:
  •  LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack

 Level Pack:
  •  Back to the Future Pack

 Team Packs:
  •  Ninjago Pack

Fun Packs:
  •  Ninjago (Zane, Jay, Nya)
  •  The LEGO Movie (Emmet, Unikitty, Benny, Badcop)
  •  The Lord of the Rings (Legolas, Gimli, Gollum)
  •  DC Comics (Wonder Woman, Cyborg)
  •  The Wizard of Oz (Wicked Witch)

LEGO Doctor Who

Hey Everyone! :D

Have you heard about the LEGO Doctor Who? :D I have, and I sure am excited about it! On the 4th of February it was announced that LEGO was making the theme. I believe it was picked off LEGO Ideas, after it got it's 10,000 supporters. You can find the page here.

Previously the BBC had refused to let LEGO make Doctor Who sets, but due to the popularity of the idea and the fact that Andrew Clack's project got it's supporters, they decided to give in.

However, some people, from what I've heard and seen, aren't quite so excited that LEGO are making sets for it, as they could find custom made Doctor Who sets - all you have to do is look on sites like Ebay. However, this could make the custom made sets more valuable.

We are yet to find out what the final product and packaging will look like, but it should look pretty awesome!

Well, I had better go, I'm going to start looking up some stuff about the LEGO Scooby Doo!

See you all later!

More LEGO Elves Sets!

Hey All!

I just found some more LEGO Elves sets! They are:

  • Aira's Pegasus Sleigh
  • Skyra’s Mysterious Sky Castle
There are no pictures yet, but I did find the price for both sets.

Aira's Pegasus Sleigh: GBP 34.99, AUD 64.49, USD 52.98
Skyra's  Mysterious Sky Castle: GBP 74.99, AUD 140.43, USD 113.53

I am yet to find out who Skyra is, although I have an idea that she might be the queen/princess of the Elves who has some sort of lock that the Elves' keys unlock in order for Emily to get back home.

Well, I'll keep an eye out for the pictures of the sets - when I find some, I'll let you know!

Cloud Cuckoo Palace

Hey all!

So, remember how I told you it was my birthday last week? Well, I got some birthday money, and after looking through tons of shops and deciding not to buy the Batman T-shirt, I bought... Cloud Cuckoo Palace!

Yup! It was $30 dollars, so I had to use some of my pocket money to buy it, but I'm very pleased with the set. :D *Jumps about like Unikitty*

It's a pretty good size for a set. Not too big, and not too small either. It fits comfortably on the last bit of clear shelf that I have. :P My shelf is so full of LEGO its crazy.

Colours are nice too - very bright and cheery. The way it's built is nice, it certainly reminds me of clouds!

It was easy to build, and the instructions were easy to read. Took about 30-40 minutes to build.

Here are some photos:

I'm really pleased with the set, it's our second LEGO Movie set!

So, what would you like me to post about next - LEGO Jurassic Park or LEGO Scooby Doo? Let me know in the comments!

And don't forget to vote for your favourite LEGO set in the polls!
