MiaKittyMoon walked through the mod tower quickly, her hand resting lightly on her ban gun. Even though it wasn't a high security day (such as the time a bunch of users attempted to hack into the tower or Skul had decided to rebel) there was an odd feeling around, and she didn't want to take any risks - everyone must be kept safe.
She opened the office door, and nodded to Stevensbike, then turned on her computer, and walked to the coffee machine. The computer beeped, letting her know it was on, and she went over, a mug of coffee in one hand and a doughnut in the other. It was going to be a busy evening, slowing down at the night, but she didn't want to fall asleep. If there was another Skul incident... well, that wasn't pink fluffy unicorns and rainbows.
Mia took a sip from the blue coffee mug that read "LEGOs are Bricktastic!", then signed into the computer. Scrolling down the screen, she saw all the usual stuff - requests to make new topics, inappropriate comment reports, like problems, invites to parties, and so on. She was about to get to work when Stevensbike interrupted.
"Mia, listen to this:
"'Dear SB,
"I have some urgent news. Would you be kind enough to VC me back?
"Anonymous.
"What do you think?"
"It can't hurt." Mia went back to her work as Stevensbike took the call number and retreated to the Video Call Room.
Stevensbike came out soon after. Mia looked up. "What did they want?"
"There's been an accident near by. I'm off to check it out." Stevensbike grabbed her coat and went out.
Mia frowned, her fingers resting of the keyboard, and looked out the door Stevensbike had gone out. She shrugged, and went back to work.
Chapter One: Fights.
Lucy_Fu looked at the other user, her eyes flashing angrily, turning from grey, to purple, then back to grey. "Take that back!"
"Will not." retorted the User, equally angry. "It's the truth!" Their fist rammed into Lucy's jaw, and she found herself on the ground, with a mouthful of dirt. She sprang up up, fists clenched, unaware of the bruise appearing on her face.
"How dare you!"
"Ninjago is lame!"
"Take that back!"
"NINJAGO IS LAME!"
Lucy was about to launch herself at the user when she suddenly reined in her temper. The user was goading her on, and she was supposed to be a good role-model, not some bickering, unimportant user. She pulled herself together, stood straight, said "To each his own." then turned around and pushed her way through the ring of disappointed users, who were all grumbling.
She walked quickly down the street, soothing the angry temper inside. Still in her little bubble, she turned the corner. Next minute she saw a mass of hair, then she had leapt onto a window sill to stop herself from crashing into an over excited user: MineHappyGarm.
"Garmy! You gave me a shock." Lucy lightly jumped down, landing on the pavement without making a sound. Garmy started bouncing up and down happily, reminding Lucy of Pinkie Pie. "Garmy, what's up?"
"You'll never guess!" Garmy grabbed Lucy's arm. "The Mod Tower was broken into!"
Lucy stared at her friend, trying to process what Garmy had said. "What?"
"C'mon!" Garmy went into a gait that was half running, half skipping, while dragging Lucy with her.
"Where are we going?"
"To NERDIS!" yelled Garmy over her shoulder. She looked at Lucy again, frowning. "What happened to you face?"
"Nothing I couldn't handle." replied Lucy. She touched the bruised mark on her jaw and winced.
By now they had left Community Chat Plaza, and had run down a small street, where Lucy saw the familiar blue Refrigerator. Garmy opened the door, shoved Lucy inside, jumped over the Nerd of Ninjago (who was lying sprawled on the floor, and had hit her bruised jaw again), and shouted at another Nerd. The door swung shut, and the NERDIS made a soft whoosh-ing noise, and they were off to another part of MB City.
Chapter Two: The Nerds
Lucy stared round in surprise as she stood up. "Wow, it's been so long since I've been here. I only remember half the faces."
Refrigerator NERDIS (NERDIS being short for Nerds Eating Real Dessert In Space) was home to the largest amount of Nerds in the LMBs. The Blue Fridge had been found by MasterOshawott, the Nerdiest user, when she was going on one of her adventures. She saw the Fridge, fancied a snack, but when she opened the Fridge door it had looked like a space station. So she claimed the Fridge, named it The Nerd Refrigerator, and began recruiting Nerds. But somewhere along the way people began calling it NERDIS.
"Well, check it out later. MO's gathering the Nerds for a meeting." Garmy grabbed Lucy's hand and started pulling her through the entrance room, towards the Hall.
The Hall room, which most called the Meeting Room, was very crowded. Most of the Nerds (including the new ones) were inside, as were the Keepers. MO wasn't in there, so Lucy assumed that she was supervising the gathering of the last few Nerds who weren't there. Meanwhile Andybrick95 was reading out an article from the "Daily Brick" to a bunch of Nerds gathered around him. Lucy noticed that he was still in pony form.
LegendZeldaWindWaker10 (Nerd of the Celestial Paintbrush) was over in a flash, behaving like another overly excited Pinkie Pie. "Lucy! You're here!" She started jumping up and down excitedly, then turned and waved at two other people. "Over here guys!"
Abbe and Albertmc came over, smiling happily. "Spinj! It's been forever!" Lucy hugged Abbe and clapped MC on the back.
"Yeah, it has been." Lucy smiled.
They chatted for a while. MO and her pokemon (the Oshawott she fondly called "Oshie") entered the room. A dead silence suddenly blanketed the Nerds.
Chapter Three: Nerd Squad
MO cleared her throat. "Welcome Nerds and Keepers! We are here for an urgent meeting... have you all heard the news?"
Most of the members put up their hands, nodding to indicate that they had, while Lucy and a few others shook their heads. MO sighed. "Oshie, read the paper." She closed her eyes.
Oshie took out the Daily Brick and began reading. "Osha osh watt oshie..."
"Um, MO?" started an user, who Lucy recognized as WaveViper. "While a few of us can understand pokemon, the rest of us don't..."
"What?" said MO, opening one of her eyes. "Oh, yes, um, right... Oshie, could you stop reading please? I'll read it to these guys later."
Oshie's face dropped, and it rolled up the paper sadly. "Oshawooooooot."
"Well," began MO, as her pokemon walked off to put the paper away. "I've decided to make our own little group, and try to help out the Mod-"
"Why not leave it to the Final Guard?" cried one of the Nerds. A murmur of agreement went through the group.
"I've talked to them already, and they don't want to do it, partly because they have other matters on hand..." MO paused, then cleared her throat for the second time. "Anyway, so here's my plan: We are going to form a group called Nerd Squad. I'll call out the leaders:
"Andybrick95, Keeper of the Pokemon is in charge of the mounted patrol -"(Andy shook his head and glared at his ponyself) "-And GNGF, Nerd of the Nindriods, can help him out. Any other ponies can help out too. That includes you, MasterPonyta.
"Ambc, Keeper of the Fridge, and Skellyvonskeleton, Nerd of the Gallifreyan Tech, will tighten the security of NERDIS.
"LeliliaOrganaSolo, Nerd of the Starfighter, and MrMaracaMan, Nerd of Nothing, are to guard the doungeon gates.
"Abbe, Garmy, and WindWaker, you're in charge of getting the Nerd Squad an HQ, only it must be inside NERDIS. So you have permission to explore anywhere EXCEPT my office.
"Lucy_Fu, Nerd of Ninjago, you are in charge of our spy team. Pick anyone you think will be good enough. Skellyvonskeleton will give you equipment."
MO cleared her throat one last time. "We wish you all luck!"
There was an up-roar as the crowds of Nerds began cheering. It was all Lucy could do to make herself heard without shapeshifting.
"MO! WHAT DOES THE PAPER SAY?!"
MO took the paper from Andy, and the Nerds went silent.
Chapter Four: The Article
Last night, at about 11 PM, the Mod tower was broken into. At 11:30 PM nearby residents CookieYourFace and Sissyloo1 heard some unusual noises, and went outside to see if Skul, the rebellious user, was at work. However, all they could see was a black figure climbing the wall.
The alarm went off at 12:45 AM. CookieYourFace and Ninjay, accompanied by several reporters, ran into a terrified Oceanbella outside the Mod Tower. After calming the Mod down they searched the building, discovering the second time round that the Golden Ban Gun and the Crystal Star were missing. The dungeon gates were smashed.
"I heard some odd noises." said Oceanbella. "I was on the second floor when I heard a scream, and I charged up the rest of the way only to find the office in ruins."
When asked if Skul was the one behind this, Oceanbella shook her head.
"Skul is rebellious, and his idea of a joke may be far fetched, but he would never do something like this. This is much more concerning and far more dangerous."

Chapter Five: Getting Ready
"Hello, Lucy_Fu." said SkellyvonSkeleton. "Congratulations on becoming the head of spies."
"Thanks." said Lucy. She looked around.
They were in Skelly's workshop, where he made all sorts of cool gadgets. The walls were lined with shelves that were full of all sorts of things.
Skelly pulled a box from a shelf. "This should have all the stuff you need." He checked the label. "Yeah, it does. It contains six walkie-talkies, six watches, six army knives, six laser guns and six spy cams.The army knives have way more tools than those ones you'd get in the shops, so you should be cool with them. The spy cams are really small - they can be hidden in the hilt of a sword, or in a badge, or a hair clip, anything."
"Cool." Lucy picked up the box. "Thanks Skelly."
"No problem."
Lucy carried the box out of the room, and up the stairs, until she got to her room.
Her room consisted of a bed, a table, a chair, a wardrobe and a dressing table. There were several pictures on the table, as well as a neat pile of paper. Her bed was made.
She walked to the table and put the box down, then picked up one of the photos. In the picture was a blond haired, blue eyed girl holding a blond haired, green eyed boy was well was her four year old arms could hold him.
There was a knock at the door, and she hastily hide the photo. "Come in."
Pinknindriod, Patch, Blizzard and Legogirl entered, looking unsure and excited.
Lucy smiled warmly. "Hey all! Let's get ready."
Chapter Six: Busy Bodies
Sissyloo1 and A_Grue crept down the corridor, glass crunching underfoot. Any odd noise made them both jump, and, although they would never admit it, both Users were having second thoughts about coming into the deserted Mod Tower.
"W-what was that?" asked Sissy, looking around. She tightened her grip on the laser gun in her hand, and looked around, with a look on her face that made one think she was trying to decide whether to be scared, happy or curious.
"What was what?" asked A_Grue, actually looking a little scared.
They stood silent for a minute.
"It must have been my imagination." said Sissy.
They started creeping forwards again, and after a while an unnatural breeze started, lifting Sissy's hair up. The room went cold. The two Users slowly turned around.
Dust and glass was swirling off the floor, forming in the shape of a giant User. Electricity crackled everywhere, and it was probably what was keeping the dust and glass in the air.
"AHHHH!" screamed Sissy and A_Grue. They turned and ran.

Lucy, Andy, GNGF and WindWaker were trotting down the street.
It was the mounted patrol. GNGF, who was still getting the hang of riding Andy, was getting coached by WindWaker, who was riding Lucy. (Lucy, as we should remember, is a Shapeshifter)
All in all, it had been going fairly well until they started galloping.
"...And lean over his neck!" shouted WindWaker.
But Andy, who was feeling very nervous and didn't like giving rides to anyone, somehow managed to trip. He and GNGF went down and started rolling down the hill. WindWaker got Lucy to gallop next to them so that she could figure out a way to stop them from rolling, but Lucy's foot got caught in Andy's rein, and she and WindWaker came down too.
They continued to pick up speed as the rolled along, and GNGF spotted GoldNinjaM and Ehinching in front of them. "LOOK OUT!" she yelled.
They collided, then finally came to a stop at the bottom of the hill, next to the Final Guard HQ. WindWaker sprang up, suddenly wielding a frying pan.
"Watch where you're going!" she shouted furiously, swinging the pan slightly. "You could've got real- oh, it's you two."
"Hi, WindWaker." said GoldNinjaM and Ehinching grumpily, as they untangled themselves from the others. Lucy scrambled to her feet and shook herself. "What are you doing?"
"Teaching GNGF to ride." said Andy, getting up as best he could with GNGF tangled in his reins.
Ehinching spluttered then fell over, and GoldNinjaM stared.
"What? Haven't you seen talking horses before?"
"Horses - don't - talk!" spluttered Ehinching, as he stood back up.
"Normal ones don't." said Lucy, tossing her head. "But we do. Hi Ehinching, GoldNinjaM."
Ehinching fell back over and GoldNinjaM continued to stare in a sort of shock.
"Shall we get moving?" asked GNGF, who had finally untangled herself and was looking down Ninjago Highway.
"Yes." WindWaker mounted Lucy. "Let's go."
GNGF hastily mounted Andy, and the two pairs trotted away from Ehinching, GoldNinjaM and the Ninjago Highway, heading towards Chima Mall.
Chapter Seven: Help!
The Ute rumbled on, and MKM was sitting in the back, getting thrown about as they travelled over bumps and ruts in the road.
MKM didn't know that she was in a Ute, but she guessed it was something similar. She was blindfolded, and someone, or something, had tied her hands behind her back.
Something outside made a sounds - a bit like a horse or cow. MKM frowned. There were no horses or cows in MB city, unless you counted the generally polite Lucy_Fu when she was shapeshifting. So she must be in the country side...
The vehicle stopped, and MKM was lifted out of it and carried down a path, up some steps, and through into a building. Then down more stairs.
She was put down, and the blindfold was taken off. Once her eyes adjusted to the light, she saw who her captor was.
it wasn't Skulduggery773. It wasn't even an User.

Sissy and A_Grue were still running as fast as their legs could go. They could hear the monster getting closer and closer behind them, and it was utterly terrifying in the strangest, most exciting way. At least, that was how Sissy left.
She slipped, and A_Grue grabbed her hand, pulling her back up. He pointed his laser of his shoulder and fired it, not looking back to see whether or not it hit. They kept running until they reached an emergency fire stairway. Sissy opened the door and they bolted down it. Both nearly tripped several times. It was a wonder that something really bad hadn't happened yet.

"What was that?"
The four Users looked at the Mod Tower, which they were standing right next to. An eerie breeze was coming off it, and was going down the streets in all directions. Andy gripped his bit in his teeth and tossed his head nervously, sidestepping. GNGF patted him.
"I - I don't know." said WindWaker. She looked the Tower up and down, obviously nervous. "Should have a look?"
Lucy reared up angrily, and WindWaker grabbed at the reins. "Are you mad? We're not on my spy patrol, and it's far too dangerous to look without having the proper equipment. Let's go back."
Andy nodded, but GNGF glowered stubbornly. "No. We're having a look." She pulled out her laser pistol, and wheeled Andy around, kicking him into a canter.
Lucy sighed, rolled her eyes and quickly started to follow them as WindWaker pulled out her own pistol. The four slowly began making their way into the Mod Tower grounds.
Chapter Eight: Help arrives... for some
"Race you up!" Lucy began to gallop through the ground floor of the Mod Tower, heading for the fire escape stairs. Andy took a minute to get into the swing - he was still getting used to being in pony form.
Windwaker blasted down the door that led to the stairs, and the two horses galloped up the stairs side-by-side, while their riders held on tightly to the reins, in fear of falling off.
The stairs ended, and ahead lay a long corridor. Sissy and A_Grue ran down it frantically, their legs beginning to feel slightly painful. They reached a metal door, and began pushing against it with all their might. Unfortunately, the door wouldn't move.
There was a crash from somewhere behind them, and the roof began to fall down. Sissy put her back against the door, and continued to push. She figured that, since she was facing down the corridor, she might as well keep an eye put for the Monster. She didn't feel like being caught unawares again.
It appeared, and Sissy felt a sudden thrill of excitement wash over her. "Keep trying to open the door, Grue. I'll cover!" She ducked behind the debris that had already came off the roof and began to fire at the roof with her laser pistol, hoping to create a barrier between the monster and themselves.
Meanwhile Grue took out his laser pistol again, and slowly began to melt the door. Sissy watched as the thing following them began pulling the debris off the floor and putting it somewhere further down the corridor.
The door in front of them burst open, revealing two horses and their riders in the doorway. Sissy and A_Grue stared in surprise.

Chapter Nine: RUN!
"What are you waiting for?" cried WindWaker, after spotting the monster. "Hop on!"
Lucy, however, had other ideas. She dumped WindWaker off her back, then lept over Sissy and A_Grue, galloping head first at the monster.
"On second thoughts," groaned WindWaker, getting up from the floor. "RUN!"
They all turned and fled down the stairs, Sissy and Grue at the back, and Andy at the head of the group. GNGF whooped happily as they raced down.
Cicada looked out her window, into the sunny street. Then she looked back at her computer.
Maybe I'll have lunch in the park - it's such a nice day after all. Would one of the other Mods like to come? Maybe I should ask IrrationalSeagull...
She walked into her kitchen, grabbing her back as she went. In went some carefully wrapped sandwiches, followed by half a dozen homemade cookies and a bottle of lemonade. Pleased with that, Cicada grabbed her keys and left the house. She saw Legored11 a little further down the street.
"Hallo, Legored." said Cicada, smiling.
"Hi Cicada." greeted Legored. "It's a lovely day today, isn't it?"
"Definitely. And I've decided to have lunch in the park to celebrate." Cicada laughed.
"Mind if I come part of the way? I'm meeting a friend around there soon."
"Sure."
They walked down the street towards Community Park, the biggest park in LMB city. The two greeted users along the streets, and waved to their friends who drove past in their cars.
One car began to slow down just behind them. Cicada looked over at it, but couldn't see in because the sun was reflecting too much on the windows. She frowned to herself, and noticed that Legored had tensed up. The car suddenly began speeding forwards, and the young User grabbed the Mod's hand and started running, pulling Cicada along with him. Legored darted down a side street, and the car screeched to a stop in front of it, and attempted to turn around to go down it. However, Mod and User had reached a rope, which Legored tugged, and a wooden plank was lowered down. Cicada and Legored stepped onto it, and they were pulled up as a window in the car was winding down - the Mod saw, with a slight chill, a ban gun pointing out of it.
A few seconds later they were on the roof, out of the bun gun's range, and standing next to A_RNN and Cappybear. Cicada sat down while Legored watched the car drive off and the other two Nerds wound up the rope.
"What happened?" as Cicada, out of breath and with a stitch in her side. "Why were we chased."
Cappybear looked up. "Someone, or something, doesn't want the Mods around." She explained. "The Final Guard normally would've dealt with this, but MO had a chat with them and now we're the ones dealing with it. We've been set here to keep an eye on all the other Mods and to look after them."
"Now that this has happened, we know that They know where you live. So we've set up a safe place for you guys to go." Finished off A_RNN.
"So where will we be going?" asked Cicada, standing up.
"To NERDIS." replied Legored.
Chapter Ten: Nindroids?!
MKM stared at the Nindriod in obvious shock.
"Nindriods?!"
The Nindriod ignored her and turned on it's heel, marching towards the door and out of the room. The great wooden door swung with a creak on it's hinges and closed with e snap.
MKM sat where she was, staring at the door. A few minutes passed before she shook her head, as if to clear it out, and stood up. It wouldn't do to sit around and wait - action must be taken, otherwise she might not get out.
First things first, she needed to know her surroundings. She was in a bare, gray room, small, with a table at one end and a bed at the other. A light and some sort of window were in the roof, providing a cold glow. Four security cameras in the corners joining the walls.
She then checked out what as in her pockets. Out came pens, notepads, duct tape, and a talkamoter.She gave the talkamoter a test, then shook it when it didn't work and tried again - but to the Mod's disappointment, it wouldn't or couldn't connect.
MKM chucked it onto the bed and started pacing the room.
Meanwhile, up in the Mod Tower, Lucy and the monster were still fighting, although they had now made their way into one of the office rooms. Lucy used her twin gold katana, using them so fast that they had become a golden blur. The Thing just watched her, then backed away from the user's savage onslaught.
Then, to Lucy's surprise, the Thing turned and and ran for a window. It picked up a table, threw it at Lucy, then smashed the window and jumped through. Lucy ducked the flying table, which sent wood spinning through the air, and ran after the monster, diving out the window and into the air, a good six or so floors above ground. She plummeted a few meters but, unable to see the monster, shapeshifted into a bird, and went to find her friends.
They were on Ninjago Highway, looking much better now that ehy were out of danger. She shapeshifted back into her normal form and ran up to them.
Andy opened his mouth to ask a question, but Lucy cut across him.
"Questions later. We need to talk to MO."
